The Federation kicked off the holiday season with our annual Christkindlmarkt last weekend. We had several vendors on hand displaying some truly great items, a performance by our Germania Singers and some delicious food served up by many of our more youthful members.

While we're on the subject of Christmas, don't forget to get some presents for the little ones for St. Nicholas day on 12/6. It's a fun German tradition to pass down to the kiddos. Presents can be left in their shoes as was (or still can be depending on how stinky the footwear is!) the tradition or wherever is convenient for you. Just remember to save something for under the tree!
