Save the date(s)!! Our 119th German Fest will be held August 9th and 10th at the lovely Spencerport Firemen's Field. As in the past, we will have some awesome homemade potato salad and sauerkraut to go along with your favorite wurst, or if you're in the mood for something a little different a kassler or leberkäse.
Everyone's favorite, Die Lustigen Almdudler will be entertaining us on both Friday and Saturday nights, and this year we were lucky enough to be able to book the Buffalo Hofbräuhaus band, Alte Kameraden, for your musical pleasure on Saturday afternoon/evening. If you haven't heard them play before, you're in for a real treat. They are great!
Our dance groups, BVA and SVH, will be there performing some traditional (and not so traditional) dances. If you're feeling adventurous, there might even be a dance or two where you can join in the fun.
And, of course, there will be plenty of German beer to share with friends, new and old. We are looking forward to hosting the community again this year for our festival and biggest fundraiser. Keep your eyes open here for some additional news as it gets closer to the big days!!
